Dinosaur Lake IV: Dinosaur Wars

Kathryn Meyer
Griffith
Genre:
Suspense-Thriller

ADVENTURE:  Chief Park Ranger Henry Shore and his family fight dinosaurs that have come out of nowhere. They have been contending with beasts that have evolved into much more intelligent creatures than their ancestors of old. Winter is coming to a close and they have not seen a dinosaur in months. As it warms up, however, they come back — and in greater numbers than before. Doctor Justin Maltin, Henry's son-in-law, is looking for a virus that can kill them and save the world from being taken over. It is a race against time to find a way to rid the world of the dinosaurs once and for all.

"Dinosaur Wars" is an action-packed story that will keep one on the edge of their seat, turning page after page. The concept is unique — there are not many stories about dinosaurs out there. The plot is multi-faceted, with a few sub-plots to keep things interesting. In a world gone mad it is interesting that there is room for things such as romance. Ms. Meyer Griffith gets into the heads of the beasts and shows that on the pages. In fact, one POV comes from one of the dinosaurs, which has evolved into a relatable character. A dinosaur POV is unparalleled. The character development evokes emotions in the reader, with parts of the story being heart wrenching. The world building is believable, transporting the reader into a modern world where dinosaurs roam the earth. "Dinosaur Wars" is near perfect, with vibrant descriptions, believable settings, and poignant writing.
