FANTASY:  Liam MacGregor, the main character, is a Fenian Warrior now put on trial for breaking supreme Fae law, a trial that could mean his death. Still, he would do it again in a heartbeat, so he’s willing to accept whatever judgement awaits him, that is until someone comes to his rescue. Help comes from an unexpected corner, in the form of Princess Abela who is willing to sacrifice both duty and honor to save the man she fell in love with years ago – Liam. But rescuing Liam comes at a high cost and could mean war for the entire kingdom. On the run for the warriors chasing them, Abela and Liam can no longer fight the desire growing between them…

This is the third book in the Legends of the Fenian Warriors but can easily be read as a stand-alone. This story is a great mix of settings and scenes from medieval Scotland, fantasy, and romance all wrapped in one. Forbidden love, the fae, solid world-building, a steamy romance, what more can fantasy fans want? The romance is a slow burn, which might not be for all readers, but readers who like relationships that develop at slower pace, will certainly find themselves rooting for Liam and Abela! One downside of the book is that the plot drags a little in some places, but this is easily forgiven, taking into account all the other elements that make this book an enjoyable read.
