An angel/ demon hybrid YA urban fantasy , "Haedyn’s Choice" involves an assortment of fantasy characters, a war between demons and angels, a guy with no clue as to his true heritage, and an all-powerful girl with a destiny. While lacking in any new plot threads and fairly predictable in terms of romance, Haedyn’s Choice is still an excellent choice for anyone looking for a quick read with kick butt action, fluttering romance, handsome heroes, lost family members, and more action. The writing is smooth and teens and new adults alike will enjoy watching Haedyn discover her goodness while Lex asks too many questions and drags her into fights. Both leads have their quirks, making this is an enjoyable read worth the time for any urban fantasy lover.
