Dating an Alien Popstar

Kendra L. Saunders
Genre:
Paranormal

Daisy Kirkwood managed to escape her small-town life, and relocate to the big city, New York. Unfortunately, soon after her arrival, she’s kidnapped by aliens. These aliens are Griffin and Devon, two extremely hot emissaries from a politically and environmentally troubled planet. Their mission is to come to earth, pretend to be the most influential people on the planet – aka, English pop stars – and gain the help of a powerful secret society. To do that, they kidnap Daisy, who may be a little nerdy but sure knows her way around music.

Daisy does much more than help them: she soon finds herself falling for Griffin, and neither of them can deny the growing attraction between them. In that sense, the book might sound like a typical romance, but all the quirky little things, like the addition of aliens posing as pop stars, the humor, and Daisy’s personality, make it much more interesting than your typical, average romance novel.

This is an amazing book! Daisy was hilarious, Griffin and Devon acted appropriately for aliens, the book also focused heavily on the music industry and all that comes with it, and the writing flowed really well, making it easy for the reader to finish this book in one sitting. It has all the nerdy stuff one would want from a book featuring a geeky protagonist, a solid dose of humor, and a unique, original plot.
