Mad About Undead You

ATELIC,  Advanced Technologies for Enabling Lifespans to Infinity via Cryogenics, or, in other words, a huge corporation responsible for what could very well be a zombie apocalypse. They dreamed of immortality, once... but then it all went terribly wrong and the world is now deathly afraid. For when zombies are everywhere, where do you run and hide?

Donovan Codell and Cathren Whitney had normal lives once. They’d worked, bickered, wondered whether they’d ever take the sizzling sparks of attraction and turn them into something .  Now, after Cathren has been bitte by one of those…things, a strange metamorphosis starts taking place. She’s definitely turning into something, but is it into an immortal? A zombie? Both?  Whatever it is, she’s now the woman everyone’s after. Can Cathren and Don outrun everyone and find peace in a world that might just destroy itself?
In case of an apocalypse, Cathren and Donovan are just the people everyone would want to be with! These two can kick ass and take names with style and humor. However, a reader would be hard-pressed to describe their personalities or essence. It would’ve been helpful to read a bit more about their previous life, so readers can know and understand them a little better. The pacing was also somewhat problematic, all that action left little place for emotional intensity. A bit scary, plenty thrilling, this promising debut still leaves one on the edge of their seat until the very end!
