SCI-FI:  Rumors surrounded Sienna Dukelsky leaving the academy to guide ships in — the main one being that she was devastated after Crispin Hunt was expelled. When they are unexpectedly brought together, their feelings rekindle. When her ship loses power, she is thrown into a situation she never expected.

When she's married, a magic is unlocked that means she possesses a magic she never knew she had. SCI-FI/DYSTOPIAN:  Neve lives in a society where empath sufferers who essentially take the troubles of others and the feelings that go with them. When the sufferer she normally helps is abruptly removed, she is assigned to help Micah Ward. She can see immediately that he is suffering from great loss and pain. As they grow closer, she is faced with a difficult choice.

Jack faces a nearly impossible decision and doesn't know what to do. Jack isn't sure what to do when Agent Travis turns up at the scene. Their bond is less than ideal and the tension may affect their ability to do their job.
