It has long been Laurie Fields’ dream to work with and for children with disabilities and illnesses like Cystic Fibrosis. Unfortunately, achieving her dream and working for Limitless puts her in the path of Finn Anderson, the one man who seems to lure her in and wind her up at the same time. Finn knows Laurie is everything he could ever want in a woman, but those with Cystic Fibrosis tend to die young; it would be cruel to allow himself to become attached and leave her early. Yet, when circumstances force Laurie and Finn to work together on a fund raiser, the draw between them becomes harder to fight, and in the end, they will have to choose whether to part or trust in each other. 

A contemporary romance with an unusual hero, “The Billionaire’s Reckless Marriage” is the second book in its series and can be read as a stand-alone but is best read in order to avoid spoilers. As the series focuses on heroes with disabilities and illnesses, the book is divided between three plot threads, Laurie’s family drama and trying to prove herself, Finn’s Cystic Fibrosis and how it affects his daily life, and their shared romance born from instant attraction. The conversations and interplay between the two main characters really builds their relationship, and their individual concerns provide believable conflict that pushes the story along. Although the story is fairly predictable in its outcome, the way the story showcases a strong heroine and uncertain hero makes it ideal for someone wanting a story with depth but still an easy enjoyable read.  Truly, it’s a wonderful inspiring romance!
