Jessiemond de Montford wants to know more about where she came from. Her curiosity is born of the fact that  she was adopted as a newborn by one of the most powerful families in England. She also wants to marry and have children like her siblings have done. Sir Marcus de Harte has a falling out with his family and leaves and joins a mummers troupe. When he meets Jessiemond, he finds the woman he knows he can spend the rest of his life with. They become lovers but are soon driven apart. Will they get back together and have the lives they've always wanted.

This is a beautifully written historical romance that will leave readers with a warm and fuzzy feeling. With correct dialogue and even pacing, it's one of those stories that reading a couple of chapters a night will leave readers feeling compelled to find out what happens next. The characters are diverse, and it feels as though their emotions jump off the page. “Return To Honor” is a historical romance worthy of the genre, and the period in which the book is set has been well researched by the author and is expressed as such. As the tenth book in this series, those who have not read this author before will want to go back and read the others in the series.
