Soulful Eyes

Deep and bold like the person I’ve become
Hiding dark secrets like a sacred song
Inside and out you’re beautiful but a scorned soul
Your brown eyes tell a story like a singing bird
Who are you? They want to know
When you walk into a room the whole crowd lights up
Your presence is always known
They underestimate your power but they don’t know your soulful eyes get everything done
Your piercing stares
Draw everyone in
Intellectual ways keep them there while yours words sweep them away being hurt was just an obstacle getting over it took some time
But your strength is impeccable
Your soulful eyes reveal your truth
Although you’re broken you pull through
Oddly enough you stay true to you
You let what you’ve been through mold you and hold you
When nobody was there your demons consoled you
