Choosing the Right Book For Your Reading Tastes


We’ve all done it. Paid hard-earned money for a novel that just wasn’t our answer to the weekend’s open schedule. It’s frustrating when you get twenty pages in and realize that you just can’t continue with the story, the characters, the boredom. Facing the fact that you just took a dollar, or sometimes ten, and flushed it down the entertainment budget toilet is a hard thing to accept. Buying a book on the New York Times Bestseller List usually involves an investment of over $8. The title of NY Times Bestseller comes at a price. That’s a given. But, having been raised penny-wise, I rarely pay above $4 for a book unless I’m pretty darn sure I’ll love it. I like to support my fellow Indie authors, so more often than not I choose an unknown book. Before I hit “Buy With One Click”, I go through a check list and although it’s not foolproof, it helps enormously...
