Writing With Dyslexia

My name is Victoria Browne and I am a dyslexic writer. I would like to try and explain what it is like to be a dyslexic in a non-dyslexic world and give some tips I use in everyday life, as an adult living with dyslexia. I knew I was different from an early age. When I was six or seven, I knew the other children in class could read better than I could, and I knew I was behind with my spelling abilities. What I did not know was why. The simplest answer at that age was, “it will just happen.” I honestly thought that one day I would wake up with the ability to read and spell as well as everyone else. How innocently naïve.
