“It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single man in possession of a good fortune must be in want of a wife”.
And with those words began not only one of the greatest novels in the English language, but the obsession of generations of women with hearts that beat and lungs that sigh.  We love Jane and we have for two hundred years.  Her novels are still on the best seller list today, and with good reason.  Jane wrote about people, about love, with a charm and precision that still resonates with us.  She is, quite simply, fabulous.
