Granted, no one ever actually accused me of being normal, but being a writer has changed me. At least that is my excuse and I am sticking with it. I had no idea this career shift would affect me so profoundly, but it has. Most days I can bear it quite cheerfully. I am having more fun than I ever have. Other days though, I shake my head and wonder what has become of meI used to be able to run out of the house without a purse, just a phone and wallet and I was good to go
