Always Remembered: Book Three in the Never Forgotten Series

PARANORMAL:  Meara is on a mission to save her ex-boyfriend, Evan. The last time he was seen, he was badly beaten by Ken, his employer, who then kidnapped Evan and took him to his realm under the ocean. When her father, David, learns of her plans, he explodes and forbids her to continue searching, but said he would search for Evan in her stead. David’s people are the selkies and Ken has a plan to destroy them. He believes a selkie killed his mother centuries ago, and he will have his revenge. Evan has to find a way to prevent Ken from fulfilling his evil plan, or the selkies will become extinct.

This is an original story, but it has a mundane "good versus evil" plot line. Even so, it clips along at a good rate. The scenes are described so well that one feels as if they are there, experiencing life beneath the sea as well as on the island. The main characters are well developed, with flaws that give them more depth thus making them more realistic. This is a thought-provoking story that is difficult to put down once started. "Always Remembered" is the third book in the author's Never Forgotten series, but works well as a standalone.
