A Love Restrained

Kylee Parker has always been a good cop, following the law honestly and justly, but when she arrests her old crush Jayson Donovan, all of her morals go out the window. Kylee wants to do what is right — because Jayson is a criminal — but she cannot help but feel the attraction she still has for him. Will Kylee’s love put Jayson’s job, and his life, in jeopardy? "A Love Restrained" is a tale of romantic suspense told in three parts, which change as the characters move through periods of their lives. Kylee is a wonderful heroine: strong, altruistic, compassionate and smart. She is a good cop, even when her feelings interfere with her job. She struggles with doing the right thing even though her heart tells her something different. Most readers will understand her apprehension but still empathize with her gentle, loving heart, especially when it comes to Jayson. Jayson definitely has the mysterious bad boy thing down pat. In fact, most readers will not know whether to trust him (or to like him). What they will know is that  the attraction between the two is undeniable and easily felt. Readers will enjoy the transitions and developments of the characters in each part of the book, and hope that Kylee and Jayson will find their happily ever after.
