Suspense-Thriller

Seth Rogan, a biologist for the largest biotech company in the world, is running for his life.  After conducting tests on the company’s genetically engineered (GMO) foods, he uncovers fraud in the original reports filed with the government. When he confronts his superiors with his findings, Seth discovers a trail of corruption and conspiracy that leaves him with no recourse but to flee the country.  He takes with him the evidence that could bring down members of the government, as well as his bosses. Once he finds asylum in Russia, he must find a way to deliver his evidence to the right people.

This fast-paced political thriller takes off running and doesn’t stop until the very end! With a story line that could be something taken out of today’s newspapers, this tale is filled with non-stop action that pulls the reader in. There’s plenty of great information on GMO’s, the plot is very plausible, and it’s evident the author put a lot of time and effort into research - so much so that the reader might wonder how much of the book is actually truth and how much is fiction.  Unfortunately, the author includes too much technical jargon in his writing that is repeated many times throughout the book. This information along with some editing issues hinders the flow of the story. Nonetheless, the realism that underpins this suspenseful political thriller makes it an exciting and entertaining read. This story is filled with plenty of twists and turns to keep the reader perched on the edge of their seat!
