The Freedom Broker

Putting her expertise as the only female kidnapping and ransom specialist in the world to the test, Thea Paris desperately searches for her high-powered, multi-millionaire father after he is kidnapped from his yacht just before one of the biggest negotiations of his lifetime. Not only is she dealing with her father’s kidnapping, she is dealing with past nightmares of her brother Niko, who suffered the same fate several years ago. Although Niko was returned to his family physically unharmed, the emotional scars never appear to go away. Thea struggles to maintain her sense of calm while fighting one of the most intense, emotional battles she has ever faced. Can she count on her brother to help her find their father or could he cause her to make a fatal mistake?

“The Freedom Broker” is a fast-paced, highly entertaining suspense novel. The character of Thea is well-defined and complex, characteristics which keep readers engrossed and turning pages. Readers may become confused with the number of supporting characters involved throughout the story. Some of their names are foreign; others are similar to each other causing further distraction. Nonetheless, rest assured that each character has his or her reason for being involved. The author illustrates the darkest side of the kidnapping world with intense descriptions of violence which may cause some readers to shy away.  The amount of action, unpredictable plot, and intriguing adventure are bound to keep readers captivated from the beginning until the end.
