Pratt
Genre:
Suspense-Thriller

Rissa Daniels is a disillusioned actress straight from Hollywood who has come home to escape from everything that glitters. Spencer St. George is a middle school art teacher, a confirmed bachelor, and an avid bicyclist. When Spencer is literally knocked off his bench by a rather large dog and Rissa lands in his lap, his whole world changes. Rissa is surprised to find a handsome man behind the glasses and gruff demeanor. When Spencer leaves the park in a huff Rissa decides she is going to pursue the man no matter what it takes. But life is never simple. After Rissa and Spencer decide they have feelings for one another their families absolutely refuse to allow their relationship to continue. Will family ties break them apart or will love conquer all?

S.H. Pratt has created a unique story that is one of a kind! The characters have depth and are described well. The plot moves at a steady pace and does not get bogged down with extra information or wordiness. Ms. Pratt has a way of drawing readers in and keeping them on the edge of their seats. Although this is the first book in the series, and readers may understand that going in, there is a huge cliff hanger at the end of the book that readers might feel is too steep. Otherwise, “The Artist’s Touch” is a story that readers will enjoy and will be excited to find out what happens next with Rissa and Spencer.
