Noelia Russo keeps busy between her job at Wedding Bliss, writing at night, and covering a friend’s volunteer shift at the hospital. The last thing she needs is a man, but when Noelia bumps into Dr. Nate Westbury, a widower with a daughter in a coma, she finds herself drawn to him despite herself.  Unfortunately, a mystery surrounds his daughter’s accident, and Nate’s persistence in blaming his daughter’s fiancé leaves Noelia torn on what to do. Unfortunately for Noelia, it seems a ghost has taken an interest in the comatose girl and will not leave Noelia or Nate alone until the truth comes out. They must trust the scariest instinct of all, love.

A sweet, simple mystery and romance with some ghostly elements, “The Sleeping Beauty Bride” is the second book in the Wedding Bliss series. Using a mix of genres, this story features an older couple finding love a second time, and confronted by troubles surrounding Nate’s daughter. While the story has a great premise, the mystery plot threads are straightforward and predictable, the romance has spurts of steam and then is flat the rest of the time, and the paranormal threads with the ghost seems more of a plot driving device rather than a stand-out element or factor.  Still, fans of romance will enjoy seeing this couple get a second romance, while the steady pace and flow provide a quick sweet read for those looking for a fluffy read to relax with.
