Lost in Beauty (Children of the King Book 5)

FANTASY:  Princess Mina Everheart, daughter of the One True King, has been given a mission: go to the island of Osaze, marry the pharaoh, introduce the people to the King and help them move past their focus on outward appearances. Unfortunately, the pharaoh has no interest in a princess on fire with change and questioning his divinity as the son of the sun god Aten. Prophesied princess or not, he needs someone to support his authority on a dying island, not overthrow everything he knows. But as Mina challenges Hawk to seek the true god, he finds he must choose between the hope of change and the surety of his traditions. Can Mina “Win the Pharaoh; win the island” or will her own past hurts and his insistence on traditions end her mission entirely?

The strangest and most intriguing Christian romantic tale any reader will ever read, “Lost in Beauty” gives a glimpse of what early Christian missionary work might have been like in China or the Americas, as a slightly futuristic young woman, raised by God, is sent to convert the people of a fictional island stuck in the past. Although the doctrine involved is a bit fuzzy and may be a turn off for some readers, the plot is so unique and such a different take on Christianity that the reader will find themselves overlooking the minor unanswered plot threads, and embrace the originality, and clean and simmering romance. This is the story that will leave the reader astounded!
