Inception: Paranormal Romance - Dragon Shifters, Immortals and Wolf Shifters (Dragon Protectors Book 1)

While relaxing in a bar, Hope feels drawn to a disturbance in a corner.  A deliciously dark and rugged man catches her attention and stirs her dragon in a way she has never felt before. The man, Aaron, has been lost and drifting since his twin died months before, but when he looks into Hope’s eyes, he feels more than hope, he feels the rest of his life. Chemistry sizzles between them, but there is just one problem: Hope is a dragon shifter with a duty to mate with another dragon and continue her species.  Aaron is an immortal and definitely not a dragon. Then there is the legend that mating with a dragon will kill a non-dragon. Recruited to save a kidnapped dragon shifter from a dangerous foe, will Hope and Aaron find a way to save the missing dragon shifter and themselves in the process?

Dragons, immortals, and shifters, oh my! “Inception” sizzles from page one with toe-curling and tummy tingling heat. Primal and sexy are the only words to describe the attraction between Aaron and Hope. This action-packed book is a great start to a series and leaves the reader satisfied with the ending (No cliffhanger!) but still wanting to know what happens next. More background and context information regarding the mythology of the world would be helpful as its not entirely clear how this world works, but it’s easy to enjoy the book without it. This slow burn of a novel is sure to awaken a dragon in anyone!
