Genre:
Paranormal

Abigail is well known and feared as one of the most ruthless assassins. However, it is soon discovered that she is being used by a higher force. As she begins to learn exactly what she has been doing, Abigail discovers that the job she has been doing is not what she thought it was. Rather, it is something to be ashamed of. Can she come to terms with with this revelation? Or will it plague her mind and send her into a deeper madness?

This book is a good read, there is a lot of action and excitement which is paced well and moves along the story. The characters are well formed and the descriptions of them are thorough and they have been well thought out. However, this book continues straight after the first book which is confusing in some aspects. It also ends in a cliff hanger and doesn't work as a standalone. Abigail is a dark character who becomes conflicted. She has a lot of issues to work through and it takes her on a dangerous and unexpected journey. Tish Thawer has written a good book as part of an intriguing series that readers will enjoy.
