Genre:
Paranormal

Tamatsu has spent years without his voice, but instead full of hunger for earthly desires that he finds impossible to deal with. In order to be released from the curse he must go to the source —his former love, Noelle.  The deal he makes is to find the missing elf queen in exchange for the return of his voice. Noelle has spent so many years in the human realm, she can't exactly remember why she cursed Tamatsu. What she does know is that he makes her feel good and she wants to make it up to him. Being with Noelle would be exhilarating, but is it a risk Tamatsu can take?

"The Angel's Hunger" is the second book in the Masters of Maria series by author Holley Trent. Although this book works as a standalone, readers may want to go back and read the first book in order to get the full story. The sexual tension between Tamatsu and Noelle crackles, and keeps readers turning the pages. These characters have a history; their story is exciting and filled with emotional turmoil. As they work together to find the elf queen they find that despite their differences, they make a great team.  Although at times a bit scant on description and detail, it doesn't detract much from the story.  As it stands, "The Angel's Hunger" is not to be missed!
