Dally (Book 8 Pendleton Petticoat series )

Genre:
Historical

Dally Douglas is determined to enjoy her stay at her family’s ranch in Oregon. With only her brother to check her unconventional ways, Dally is free as a bird, and looking forward to the upcoming round-up. Perhaps she will even find a cowboy of her own — someone who loves horses as much as she does. Someone who is not the handsome, motorcycle-riding new town doctor.

Nik Nash has spent years studying, and now he has finally come home to Pendleton to build his career. He doesn’t have the time to fall for a lively cowgirl with her mind set on a rancher. When an accident leaves Dally in Nik’s care, neither of them is able to ignore the other for long. With two tender hearts on the line, they might just learn that true love sometimes comes in unexpected forms.

A marvelous addition to the “Pendleton Petticoat” series, “Dally” begins and ends in a whirlwind. Set in a time when the Wild West was becoming more modern and settled, the main characters are vibrant and readers will be captivated by their story. Although this book can be read as a stand-alone, readers might want to read all the books in the series in order to fully understand Nik’s background. Despite the predictability of the plot and romance, fans of the series or historical romances in general can enjoy this cute and clean read.
