Prince Manning of Stölland is a spare heir who does nothing more than cause scandal. So, when he is shipped off to the States to play professional hockey, he has no objections. His fiancée is a shrew, and he would rather play on the ice anyway. His one job is to stay away from the American women and not cause scandal. Does impregnating a simple country girl who makes a living printing genitalia on cookies count as avoiding scandal? Gracie Diamonte never regarded herself as an intelligent woman, but she could bake like nobody’s business. When the crowned Prince of Stölland orders some for himself, a simple cookie delivery turns into an accidental pregnancy. He wants to do right by her, she just wants to do right by her baby.

From the very beginning, this book will have the reader in stitches. Written in the first person, the inner dialogue of these two characters creates an entertaining scene. Manning is a womanizer with a good heart and Gracie is a witty woman with a strong sense of sarcasm. Together, they create a quirky couple to keep readers on their toes! Though full of humor, some areas feel over the top or forced, sometimes being hard to follow. Gracie is strong-willed but almost frustratingly so, and at times her inner dialogue is excessive.  The physical connection between the two characters is strong. Manning’s desire to do right by Gracie is charming and endearing, and her willingness to be independent is empowering. With lots of love, laughter, and super steamy interactions, any romantic comedy reader can sink their teeth into this book!
