Joss Jamison is lead singer and the glue that holds the band "Lush" together.  Lynch, his best friend and drummer, and his fiancée Tammy all went to high school together and have been tight ever since. Tammy helps manage the band and keep a schedule that allows her and Lynch to be together all the time. Lynch was on a destructive path when Tammy and Joss finally got him into rehab to clean up. It was very difficult on the threesome and Joss and Tammy found comfort in each other during this time. With Lush on the road to a comeback, Tammy recruits her younger sister, Mel, to document the band's American tour. A recent photojournalist graduate, this gig could catapult Mel's career. She knows the band members' lifestyle; and after the tour she’ll be on her way.  Or is there a draw to keep her close?

The main characters, Joss and Mel, are well developed and the supporting characters are equally important to the storyline. Some parts lean to the predictable but are still very entertaining. The plot is deftly written and readers will be totally engrossed in the story and how it all plays out. The suspense and angst is well done and the ending is wrapped up with a link to the next book in the series. Lovers of rock-star romances will enjoy this series and want to follow along as it evolves with the other characters introduced in book one. Life on the road, dealing with paparazzi and keeping secrets all make for a very dramatic tale.
