She gets a fresh start, a new career and no soldiers. Unfortunately in her eyes, the one and only man that seemed to make her want to change her mind is Army National Guard First Sergeant Kade Dalton, also the town's Sheriff.  Althought they try to keep their distance, there are many others who assist in the match making in Harland County. Can Kade move past his PTSD and allow love in or is it back to Pennsylvania for this musician-turned-designer?

In “Her Uniform Cowboy”, Ms. Michaels pens a tale with pure heart and true grit!  This story will hit so many readers close to home there is not one part of the plot that will feel foreign. No super models here, just true, down to earth servicemen and woman getting back to their place in the world. The characters and plot have a wonderful arc and the laughter, tears and emotional ride readers get to take on this journey will not disappoint. The book is part of a series and does stand alone, however, better character understanding may occur if one is acquainted with previous books in this series. The tribute and gratitude portrayed throughout is heartwarming and truly touching. The fallen soldier table is the perfect bow on this gift and a beautiful finale to the tale. Adding Ms. Michaels to your list of favorites will undoubtedly be in order!
