WESTERN:  Meredith Hanover lives the life of a wealthy businessman’s daughter, but her life is anything but happy.  Desperate to escape the clutches of her cold and tyrannical father, she grabs at the chance to become a modern mail-order bride to Jace Shepard, a cattle rancher needing a wife to fulfill his dying father’s wish. What starts out as a temporary and perfect solution to their problems soon becomes complicated when sizzling attraction muddles the playing field.

This mail-order bride tale set on a cattle ranch in Wyoming will snare the reader from the very first page and won't let go until the last! Unique with its modern-day matchmaker twist, it nonetheless has a predictable storyline. It moves at a steady pace and the plot is well written, but the randomly shifting POVs might give pause to some readers. However, with well-developed characters that captures ones heart, chemistry that smolders, and endearing secondary characters, one easily overlooks these issues and becomes totally enmeshed in the story. This a great book with emotional depth, well-placed tension, and enough old-fashioned romance to pull at the heart strings and leave a smile behind when all is said and done.
