Max Thomas has been attracted to Chloe from the moment he saw her, and as trainers at a gym, they are in close proximity. However, Chloe has a chronic illness (Cyclic Vomiting Syndrome) and Max goes to extreme lengths to find a viable solution so she can lead a normal life. During the course of their quest, they fall in love, but there’s more than just an illness to overcome. Chloe has other issues that also must be resolved before they can have a relationship. But is love enough?

This unique tale touches upon CVS, a rare disorder that is not widely known and often misdiagnosed. It is obvious that the author has done a lot of research on the disease and has skillfully woven the aspects of this little-known affliction into her original story of unconditional love in its purest form. The characters are engaging and the plot flows smoothly, although, Chloe’s reluctance to believe in Max is somewhat overdone.

The secondary characters play an intricate role in the progression of the story and heighten the culmination. This emotional tale captures the reader and brings forth a myriad of emotions. Filled with kindness, compassion, patience, and determination, it demonstrates that love has no boundaries and anything is possible. True love takes on a completely new meaning and elevates the soul in this remarkable and captivating story!
