Hunter Donovan runs the publishing company Donovan Books for his father. It’s not want he wants to do with his life; he wants to be an author himself. Instead, he is helping other authors publish their blood, sweat and tears. After attending a book conference he has decided that publishing erotica will increase dwindling sales, even if his dad staunchly disagrees. Meeting an author who pens erotica sets him on a journey to do just that, and she offers to introduce him to an erotica editor that will help in his endeavors. Hiring Cary Anderson turns out to be way more than he ever bargained for, in more ways than one.

If one thinks they know what this story is about…they would be WRONG.  There are many types of bondage, not just the sexual kind. “The Bondage Club” delves into a few of those, such as one’s job, lifestyle and relationships. Hunter Donovan feels bound to his job and to his father, among other things. Cary is also bound to her job as an editor, and her need to hide her kinky side. There are delicious twists and turns that keep the reader turning pages - not to mention Ms. Weis’ talent as a writer.  It’s hot, funny, a bit mysterious and dare one say, educational. Ms. Weis does an amazing job of weaving through the ties that bind them both.
