Aiden and Tallulah are two people from completely different walks of life. Aiden is an eager, moneymaking executive from a wealthy family, while Tallulah is a hard-working temp, who never stays at one job for long. When they meet, they are instantly attracted to one another. They soon discover their families aren’t that different after all. Dysfunction, it seems, does not discriminate. They try to fight their attraction but something keeps drawing them together. Will they find their way through all of the drama?

“Better Together” is a dramatic, opposites-attract romance. Unfortunately, while they are full of potential, Aiden and Tallulah are not developed to their fullest.  Aiden  chooses to obey his parents’ commands even though he is a grown man with his own business to take care of, which makes his character seem weak. Tallulah does not want to stay in one job for long, which makes her character feel flighty. Although the family histories are explained, it would create a better story if the author explored those relationships in more depth to help explain their behavior.  A number of the secondary characters are quite interesting, and there is potential here for an enchanting series.  Fans of office romances will enjoy this quick, smoothly written read.
