TIME TRAVEL/HISTORICAL:  Cora Rey thought she was simply going to a fancy hotel in a mansion for an extravagant vacation. When it turns out she actually goes back in time with the owners of the mansion, she leaps at the chance to live out life in a world she had only ever dreamed of seeing. There, she meets Duke Simon Tuttle, the marriage prize for the season. Simon and Cora meet and create a relationship of convenience. The goal? To help each other find the perfect match for the other. Simon has a secret, however, that might make him unworthy of a bride. Will Cora be able to love him despite his flaws?

“P.S. I Love You” is a clever time-travel romance with the right amount of chemistry mixed with the perfect kind of sweet! In this clean tale, Cora and Simon have a genuine relationship that is easy to root for. They bring each other up, and have several swoon-worthy moments. Ms. Noelle has done a great job combining the past and the present. Her descriptions are on point for the era and well researched. A few parts in the novel are slow, but overall the pacing is smooth and even.

Ms. Putt’s performance has fantastic characterizations. Accents and personalities are full out, making all of the characters in the novel come to life vividly! When it comes to the narrative, however, there is a lack of passion and emotion present, and it causes the scenes to come across as hollow despite the great pacing.

“P.S. I Love You” is a great concept and a story full of true romance and desire. Lovers of clean romance will especially enjoy this, along with historical fans.
