Audiobooks: A Multi-Tasker's Best Friend

June is Audiobooks Month! Say what? If you haven’t thought about or listened to audiobooks, you may not realize that the audiobook industry is thriving and growing larger each day. Once relegated to the back recesses of libraries, and used primarily by those with visual impairments, audiobooks have become mainstream entertainment. While many Indie authors are creating audiobooks from their books, others don’t know much about the audiobook industry. We’re professional audiobook narrators, Karen Commins and Ann Richardson, and we’re here to bridge that information gap! In this exciting new column for InD’tale, we are thrilled to share our knowledge of the audiobook industry and help authors learn how to get their books into audio.
