Thank you! :-)

This news came as a welcome surprise to see my latest novel nominated among so many other exciting books. I had a lot of fun writing 'Big Jim.' The research took me back to a time (1953) when the golden age of African safaris captivated the world, and I'm very glad to see my book has done something similar for readers. My congratulations to all the nominees!

David Lucero, author
